Some parts of the day pass in a blur
The walk down the aisle.
The way voices tremble during the vows.
A parent’s quiet smile during a toast.
The music playing during the first dance.
At Fallen Feather Films, we don’t believe wedding films are about trends or spectacle. They’re about preserving a day that will never happen again, so it can be revisited gently, honestly, and without pressure.
That’s why we offer a small number of thoughtfully designed wedding film packages — each one created for a different kind of couple, but all made with the same care.
Years from now, you’ll be grateful you can hear their voices again.
How We Approach Your Wedding Day
We work quietly and respectfully.
No bright lights. No staging. No rushing the moment.
We’re there to observe, listen, and preserve, not direct or interrupt.
Your day stays yours — we simply make sure it’s remembered.
Your footage never leaves our care, and your film is created locally by real people who understand the value of family memories.

We just want to be able to hear our vows again someday.
The Ceremony Keepsake – $999
A simple, steady record of the moment two lives become one.
This package is for couples who want the heart of the day preserved — the ceremony itself — without added production or complexity.
We arrive quietly, set up carefully, and record the ceremony in full with clean, reliable audio. The footage is lightly trimmed at the beginning and end so it plays smoothly, but otherwise left just as it happened.
Nothing fancy. Nothing staged.
Just an honest keepsake you can return to whenever you wish.
Included:
- Up to 2 hours on-site
- One professional camera
- Clean audio of vows and officiant
- Light trimming only — no additional editing
- Full-length ceremony film
- Delivery on DVD, Blu-ray, or digital file
The Day Story – $2,999
A warm, faithful retelling of the most meaningful moments of your wedding day.
This is our most popular option, designed for couples who want more than just the ceremony — but don’t need a full documentary of every hour.
With two videographers present, we’re able to capture your day from multiple perspectives, ensuring the moments that matter most aren’t missed: the ceremony, the voices during the toasts, and the tenderness of the first and special dances.
From everything we capture, we craft a short cinematic highlight film that gently tells the story — while also preserving the most important moments in full.
Coverage includes:
- Preparations through toasts and first/special dances
- Two videographers
- Ceremony filmed with multiple angles
You receive:
- A 5–10 minute cinematic highlight film
- Full-length ceremony film
- Full speeches and toasts as simple individual videos
- Full first dance and special dances
- Engagement session video
- Delivery on DVD, Blu-ray, or digital file

We want to know the moments that matter most will be taken care of.

Someday, we want our children to be able to see this.
The Legacy Film – $4,999
A complete wedding film experience — created as a family heirloom.
This is our most comprehensive offering, created for couples who want their wedding day preserved in full — not just the highlights, but the in-between moments that grow more meaningful with time.
We’re with you from the morning preparations through the final important moments of the evening, capturing the full arc of the day as it naturally unfolds.
Alongside a cinematic film, you’ll receive a long-form documentary edit — a faithful, chronological retelling of the entire day, including the ceremony, speeches, dances, and candid moments throughout.
This is the version families return to years later.
Coverage includes:
- Full-day coverage from morning to night
- Two videographers
- Multi-angle ceremony coverage
You receive:
- A 15–20 minute cinematic film
- Full-length ceremony film
- Full speeches and toasts
- Full first and special dances
- A long-form documentary-style edit of the entire day (typically 1–3 hours)
- Engagement session video
- When the weather and venue allow, a few soft aerial scenes to give a sense of place
- A complete archive of the day’s footage — every moment captured, preserved just as it was
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
If you’re wondering how this all works, you’re not alone. These are the questions we’re asked most often.
The highlight film is a shorter, cinematic piece that gently tells the story of your day using music and carefully chosen moments. It’s meant to be watched and shared easily.
The documentary edit (included in the Legacy Film package) is much longer and more straightforward. It includes the ceremony, speeches, dances, and candid moments presented in full, in the order they happened. Many families describe it as a time capsule — something they return to years later.
Yes.
In the Day Story and Legacy Film packages, the ceremony, toasts/speeches, and first and special dances are all recorded in full and delivered as complete videos, so you can revisit those moments exactly as they happened.
Wedding days rarely run perfectly on schedule — and that’s okay.
We focus on being present for the important moments rather than watching the clock. Coverage is described by milestones (ceremony, toasts, dances, etc.), not rigid minutes, so the day can unfold naturally.
In the Legacy Film package, yes.
You’ll receive a complete archive of the footage we captured throughout the day, preserved just as it was. These files are unedited, but many families appreciate having them for sentimental reasons or future use.
For other packages, we carefully curate and deliver the most meaningful moments so you’re not overwhelmed with files you may never watch.
When the weather and venue allow, we sometimes include a few soft aerial scenes to give a sense of place.
This is never guaranteed and isn’t something you’re paying extra for — just a gentle addition when conditions are right and it fits the day naturally.
Depending on your package, your films are delivered digitally and/or on DVD or Blu-ray.
We make sure everything is easy to access and clearly labeled — no complicated technology required.
Many couples reach out 6–12 months before their wedding, but availability can vary.
If you’re unsure, the best next step is simply to check availability. There’s no pressure — just a quick conversation to see if we’re a good fit.
Yes, we do.
We regularly work with couples throughout Northeast Wisconsin and are happy to travel for weddings that are a good fit. If your celebration is a bit farther away, we’ll simply talk through the details together so everything is clear and comfortable ahead of time.
There’s no pressure — just an honest conversation to see what makes sense for your day.
That’s completely normal.
Most couples aren’t sure at first. We’re happy to talk through what matters most to you and help you choose the option that feels right — without upselling or pressure.
